Installation - Magnetic Screen Door

Install your custom magnetic screen with the supplied hook-and-loop tape. Start with a clean, dry frame and keep the panels relaxed so the magnets close naturally.

  1. Clean & dry. Wipe the top and both sides of the frame. Remove dust and grease, then let the surface dry fully.
  2. Apply the tape. Dry-fit the screen first. Apply the adhesive hook-and-loop tape along the top and both sides of the mounting area, pressing firmly along its full length.
  3. Attach the screen. Fix the top center first, then work outward and down both sides. Keep each magnetic opening vertical and avoid stretching the mesh.
  4. Test & adjust. Walk through every opening and check that the magnets reconnect. If the bottom drags or the magnets do not meet, adjust the screen using the hook-and-loop connection.

Extra support: Use the included push pins only where suitable for your frame or wall material. Follow any adhesive instructions supplied with your kit, including bonding time. Do not cut the mesh, hem or magnetic edges.
