Hook-and-loop tape width and mounting space

Our standard hook-and-loop tape is 4 cm (about 1.6 inches) wide. Allow 4 cm of flat frame space on each side where the tape attaches. Your ordered width and height must include the mounting space, rather than only the clear opening. If your measurements already include the frame space, do not add it again. We do not add extra frame allowance to the measurements you provide.

Adjustable attachment: The 4 cm mounting space does not mean the tape must overlap the full width of the screen border. Adjust the hook-and-loop overlap during installation while keeping a secure hold. Your ordered dimensions must still include the mounting area; do not subtract an overlap allowance. If you have a narrower frame or special requirements, we can also make your custom screen with 2–3 cm (about 0.8–1.2 inches) wide tape on request. Contact support@coverwith.com before production to confirm the tape width and required mounting space.

After payment, we will email you to confirm each item’s width, height, units, and mounting space. Production begins only after we receive and review your reply. No fixed reply format is required.

Built to survive the dog

The Pets screen uses a reinforced, pet-resistant polyester mesh built for claws and paws, with double-stitched edges so the seams don't pull apart when your dog decides the door opens on demand. The magnetic seal lets pets push through and snaps shut behind them — no propped-open door, no bugs. Airflow stays close to a fully open door: bugs out, breeze in.

Every screen is cut to your doorway once you order — so there's no warehouse of unsold stock, and no offcuts from forcing a standard size to fit. You get a screen that fits, and nothing gets made just to sit in a landfill.

Heavy-duty magnets run the full length of the center seam, top to bottom. Walk through with your arms full and the screen snaps shut behind you. The closure stays aligned in a breeze and reseats cleanly after pets push through.

How it works:

1. Wipe the door frame clean and dry.
2. Trial-position the unfolded screen, then apply the hook-side tape to the clean, dry mounting frame.
3. Attach the screen at the top center, then work outward and down both sides. Full-width tape overlap is not required; adjust the attachment position while keeping it secure.
4. Smooth out folding creases without stretching the mesh. Check that the magnets reconnect naturally and adjust the overlap if needed.

Frame note: the adhesive needs a flat, clean, dry surface. Painted wood, vinyl, and aluminum work well. Brick, stucco, and textured surfaces use the included pushpins.

• Manufacturing defect, transit damage, or wrong size shipped — free replacement. Most cases we just remake it, no return to mail back.
• A measurement mistake on your end — because it's cut to your numbers, we can't take it back for fit. That's exactly why we'll check your measurements before we cut — send a photo.
• Changed your mind before we start — email within 24 hours of ordering and we'll cancel for a full refund.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

We check your fit before cutting; sizing returns aren't accepted, but manufacturing defects are replaced free. Send a photo before production if unsure.

Will the adhesive hold on my frame?

Wood, vinyl, and aluminum: yes. Brick, stucco, or textured surfaces: use the included pushpins.

Does it actually stop mosquitoes?

The mesh is sized to block common US biting insects.

What's the maximum size?

What if the tape or a magnet fails later?

Does it block light or airflow?

Light passes through; airflow is close to a fully open door.

How long until it arrives?

For US delivery, Free Shipping usually takes 12–17 business days from order placement. Expedited Shipping (+$15) usually takes 8–13 business days in total. Both estimates include preparation, which usually takes 3–5 business days. Expedited transit takes 5–8 business days after dispatch and does not shorten production.

When will tracking update?

Your parcel may travel internationally before reaching your local delivery carrier. Their tracking may stay at “Label Created” or “Awaiting Item” until they receive and scan it. A tracking number can be created before dispatch, so this status alone does not confirm pickup or a delay.

If tracking has not updated for 5 business days after dispatch or since its last update, or your latest estimated delivery date has passed, email support@coverwith.com with your order number. We will check the shipment with our shipping partner.

Because this product is custom-made, we can't accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind or measurement mistakes. If it arrives defective, damaged in transit, or made in the wrong size due to our error, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace or repair it; if we need the item back, CoverWith covers the return shipping.
