Sizing & Measuring
Measure the outer door frame — the flat surface where the tape mounts, not the door panel or the opening. Width edge to edge, height top to floor. Take three measurements each way and use the largest. Full guide with photos: How to measure →
That's the one thing to get right, since each screen is cut to your numbers. If you're unsure, email us a photo of your doorway with a tape measure in frame before you order — we'll confirm it with you, free, even if you don't end up buying.
Up to 190" wide and over 109" tall on the standard Custom screen; down to 16" wide on the Small. If your opening falls outside that, email us before ordering.
This line is built for doorways. For windows, email us — we'll tell you honestly whether it'll work.
Ordering & Pricing
By size range. You pick your width and height band, and the price updates before you add to cart — no surprises at checkout. Bigger openings use more material, so they cost more.
Because it's made to your size, not pulled off a shelf. The starting price is the smallest size; your final price depends on the width and height you enter.
If we haven't started cutting yet — email us within 24 hours of ordering and we'll adjust or cancel for a full refund. Once production starts, we can't change a custom cut.
Shipping & Delivery
About 1.5–2 weeks total: 3–5 business days to make it, plus free US shipping (5–7 business days, tracked).
US shipping is free.
US shipping today. We're setting up shipping to the UK, Germany, and France — check back soon, or email us and we'll let you know when your country is live.
Returns & Replacements
Because each screen is cut to your measurements, we can't take one back for a sizing mistake — the same reason a tailor can't resell an altered suit. That's exactly why we'll check your measurements before we cut. Send a photo if you're unsure.
We replace it free. Manufacturing defects, transit damage, or a wrong size shipped on our end — most cases we just remake it, no return to mail back.
Email within 24 hours of ordering, before production starts, and we'll cancel for a full refund.
Installation
Wipe the frame clean and dry, stick the hook-side tape around the frame, press the screen on from the top corners down. No drills, no tools. Instructions are in the box.
Wood, vinyl, aluminum, and most painted finishes: yes. Brick, stucco, or textured surfaces: use the included pushpins.
Email us and we'll send replacement parts. Spare hook-and-loop tape and tacks are also in our Accessories collection →
The screen itself, yes. You'll want fresh mounting tape for the new frame — grab an installation kit →
Product & Materials
Heavy-duty magnets run the full center seam, top to bottom, so the screen snaps shut behind you hands-free and reseats after pets push through.
The mesh is woven tight enough to block common US biting insects — mosquitoes, gnats, house flies — while still letting air through.
No — airflow is close to a fully open door, and you can still see the yard. Light comes through.
Tight-weave polyester mesh, double-stitched polyester edge binding, neodymium magnets sealed in vinyl pockets, and industrial hook-and-loop tape with 3M-backed adhesive.
Pets
Our Pet-Proof screen uses a reinforced mesh and double-stitched edges built for paw traffic. Standard screens tear; this one is made to take it.
Yes — the magnetic seal opens with light pressure and snaps shut behind them, so the door isn't left propped open.
The Custom Pet-Proof Magnetic Screen Door → for heavy pet traffic. The standard Custom screen handles occasional pet use fine.
Made to Order
We make each screen after you order it — so there's no unsold stock sitting in a warehouse, and no offcuts from forcing a standard size to fit. We'd rather tell you that plainly than slap a "green" badge on it. If we add recycled materials or lower-impact packaging later, we'll say so when it's actually true.
